Patan Rani ki Vav

Rani ki vav is an intricately constructed stepwell situated in the town of Patan in Gujarat, India. It is located on the banks of Saraswati River. Rani ki vav was built as a memorial.


It is situated at a distance of 18 km to the north of Ahmedabad. It was built by Queen Rudabai, in 1499 AD. Adalaj Vav is counted amongst the finest architectural structures of Gujarat.

The Aina Mahal palace, or “Hall of Mirrors” was built during the flamboyant rule of Lakhpatji in the middle of the 18th century.

Vijaya Vilas

Built in 1929 by Rao Vijayrajji, this palace is very well-maintained, and often the scene of filming for Bollywood productions.
